How do I know if my MCB is bad?

If a circuit breaker exhibits any of the following symptoms, it may be considered as faulty or bad: emitting a burning odor, feeling hot to the touch, frequently tripping, showing signs of wear and tear, visibly damaged, unable to remain reset, experiencing power surges, or overloaded circuits.
